StudentAid BC application system changes (June 19-23, 2026)
StudentAid BC is launching a new Application System.
Submit your application for the current program year by June 19 at 3:00 PM (PST). If you don't submit by this deadline, any draft applications will be cancelled. The system will be unavailable June 20-22. Starting June 23, apply through the new Students application system at www.studentaidbc.ca
NEW! Application for 2026-27 Adult Upgrading Grant (AUG) is now open
Are you attending or planning to enroll in an approved Adult Basic Education, Adult Special Education, English as a Second Language or Upgrading/Qualifying course at KPU? If so, the Adult Upgrading Grant (AUG) may be the program for you. This program helps adults demonstrating financial need who are enrolled in skills upgrading, education and training courses. Whether you’re a new, current or senior student, SAFA has a variety of supports to help fund your KPU program.
Financial Aid Advisors can provide information, assistance and guidance on financial resources to meet your individual needs.
I would like to apply to KPU. What scholarships and awards are available to new students?
Major Entrance Scholarships and Awards:
- 6 President’s Scholarships of $30,000 each
- 18 Merit Awards of $7,500 each
- 3 Indigenous Merit Awards of $7,500 each
I might not have enough money to pay for my studies. What can I do?
We can explore student loans, bursaries and emergency assistance depending on your needs and eligibility. Contact us to book an appointment with a Financial Aid Advisor about your options.
